Day 1: Government

• Pray that our elected and appointed government leaders and officials will have a fear of God in their hearts. May they lead this nation with competence, justice, righteousness, and compassion.
  

• Pray that our national and local leaders will have contrite hearts, leading the nation to confession and repentance.
  

• Pray that wicked and corrupt deeds in the government will be exposed, and that truth and justice will prevail. May those involved in corrupt practices be held accountable for their actions.
  

• Pray for Christians in government to serve as salt and light in their places of work, to have boldness and courage to uphold what is right and true. May they be like Daniel and Joseph to the leaders they work with and serve.
