Day 13: Crisis Preparedness & Creation Care

• Pray for organizations like Operation Blessing, PhilRads, and other NGOs who respond to the needs of different communities when natural calamities happen. Pray for sufficient manpower and resources so that many communities and families will be served. Pray for the protection of first responders as they rescue and bring relief to those in need.

• Pray that Filipinos will be good stewards of the beautiful country that the Lord has entrusted us. Pray that we will love our nation and take care of its natural resources. May we be responsible citizens who will appreciate and protect our nation.

• Pray for wisdom for our leaders as they think of ways to mitigate the impact of typhoons which visit our country regularly. Pray that our country will have effective programs to prepare and protect Filipinos from natural calamities.

• Let us ask the Lord for forgiveness for our nation because of our lack of concern for His creation. The Philippines is the number one contributor of plastic pollution to the seas worldwide. Pray that we will be disciplined in throwing, managing, and recycling our garbage. May creation care be part of our lifestyle as Filipinos.

• Pray that God will spare and protect our nation from typhoons, earthquakes, and other natural calamities this year.
