Day 9: Solo Parents, Widows, and Orphans

• May our families be rooted in God’s Word and know His promises so that we will know what to cling to in times of great challenges and trials. Let us pray that our families, though imperfect, become testimonies of God’s goodness and grace.

• Let us pray that our families will be filled with the Spirit and that the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—will always be evident in our daily dealings and interactions.

• Pray that widows will be empowered, equipped, and encouraged as they face a new season in their lives. May the Lord give them financial stability and encouragement when waves of grief visit them. Pray that they will always lean on the Lord, remembering God’s promise that He will take care of them.

• Pray for widows, orphans, and solo parents. May the Lord provide for their emotional, physical, mental, and financial needs. May the Lord send people who will help them and uplift their spirits. May they find hope in Christ in every situation, knowing that God loves them.
